Bookings can be made online via, by emailing or calling reservations on 07 4658 1781.

Bookings are subject to availability and applicable pricing at the of booking, some conditions and/or exclusions may apply including but not limited to minimum stay requirements.

Any quote is an estimate of the price and the price will only be confirmed once a payment is made on the booking and you have received confirmation.

Any confirmed price is subject to change if a payment is not received by the date of arrival or there is a change in government charge, tax or levy.  If any of your booking details are amended, such as dates of stay or numbers of guests or room type this may affect the pricing of your stay.

Any bookings made by agents or third parties may be subject to separate terms and conditions and you are responsible for checking these.

We do not accept bookings from persons under 18 yrs.  All persons under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult, parent or guardian.

We will do our best to accommodate requests for specific sites or cabins, however these are not guaranteed.

Cancellation policy

For all standard bookings, in the peak season if you cancel the following fees are applicable

  • Up to 7 days from your scheduled arrival, no cancellation fee will be applied.
  • Within 7 days a fee equivalent to one night’s accommodation will be charged.
  • On the day prior or the day of arrival, no refund will be applicable for the full stay

For all standard bookings during the quiet season we can be a little more flexible, however cancelling 48 hours prior to arrival a fee of one nights accommodation will be applied.

Refunds will be processed via the method of payment used for the booking.

Refunds may to up to 30 days to be processed.


Monies paid due to cancellations maybe held as a credit for future travel, without penalty.

These are valid for 12months, to extend this time management approval is required.

If you require a refund from a credit a $30 administration will be deducted from the payment.


All amendments will be subject to availability and will be subjected to the relevant pricing of the requested change.  Amendments maybe subjected to an administrative fee.  These can be made up to 48 hours prior to arrival. 

No shows or early departures

No shows will forfeit any payment made on the booking.

Early departures will forfeit all monies paid, no refund except under circumstances where management has authorised. 

Events beyond your control

We understand that circumstances may occur outside your control and we are reasonable in the assessment of the impact on the guest and the business.  We have flexible arrangements with credits, refunds and acceptable administration fees, dependent upon the circumstance. 


All rates quoted are best available rate of the day.  Throughout periods of the year we may offer discounted rates, these are only available for the specific time period and not transferable.

Weekly rates are only available on large powered sites and negotiated by management.

Corporate rates are offered for companies who stay a regular number of nights per year.

Any other rate discounts will be negotiated via management.

General Protocols


All standard bookings, full payment is taken at the time of booking and these will not be confirmed until full payment has been received.  Non confirmed bookings may be released on the day of arrival if no prior arrangement for payment have been made.

Payment can be made via Visa, Mastercard or Direct deposit. Cash only accepted for walk-ins or under approved circumstance.

Bookings in our cabins will be required to provide a credit card as security regardless of the method of payment.


The Outback visitor season operates generally from the first week of the school holidays term one through to school holidays beginning term four.

Many operators book out very quickly during this period and Longreach Tourist Park takes no responsibility for customers not being able to visit the attractions.  We highly recommend you book all attractions prior to arrival.

The Woolshed bar and Grill is open during the peak season and bookings are required.

Check in and Check out

Check in time is

11.00 am for all caravan and camping sites (excluding ensuites)

2.00pm for all cabins and ensuites

We can try to accommodate early check-ins where possible however during the peak season this is not possible due to the volumes of guests and the turn around time, for cleaning.  The 2pm check-in time may be extended on very busy days.

Check out time is 10am.

If you would like a late checkout, you will need to contact reception for approval.  Whilst we try to accommodate, during the peak season, it is often not possible due to volumes of guests travelling. Charges may apply.

If you do not depart by 10am and we are unable to contact you, you will be charged for one extra night.

Late arrival or early depart

Office hours operate from  8am – 6pm 7 days a week during peak season and 8am – 5pm during the off peak season.

If you are arriving outside office hours contact the office and we can arrange to leave a welcome pack outside for you.  We do not recommend arriving after dark, not only is it dangerous to be driving on outback roads after dark, late arrivals can be disruptive to other guests.

If you require an early departure we have a key drop box located beside the reception door.

Group Bookings

Groups bookings are ten or more standard bookings travelling together. This includes tour groups, coaches, events or large family or friend groups.

Where possible we will accommodate a group in a designated area together, dependent upon rooming configuration.

A deposit equal to the first total night stay is required upon booking and full payment 30 days prior to the scheduled date of arrival.

In the event of a group cancellation, 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date is required in writing, without penalty.  Less than 30 days a cancellation fee equal to the value of one night stay will be applied.


We are not liable for any costs, expenses, claims, liabilities, actions, proceedings, damages, judgements or losses of any kind, including consequential and economic losses, property loss and damage,  personal injury or loss related to COVID-19 or the contracting of COVID—19 or death at the park, arising out of any conditions or occurrences beyond our control, including but not limited to defects in vehicles, theft, delay, cancellation, natural disaster, global pandemics, government regulations or changes in itinerary or schedule. Exceptions are in the event of negligence of the park or agents.

Observance of laws and government regulations are the responsibility of the guest.

We do not make any representation about the suitability of the accommodation or services.
